今天我使用微软在2005年11月18日推出了Beta版Windows Live Cunstom Domains创建了***@zyan.cc的免费Hotmail电子邮局。利用Windows Live Cunstom Domains，不用安装任何脚本，也不需要耗费自己的空间，就可以用Hotmail稳定的服务来建立以自己的域名为后缀的邮局了。
Windows Live Cunstom Domains的服务内容包括：
◆为每个域名创建至多20个邮箱；
◆每个邮箱跟Hotmail一样拥有250M空间(中国用户25M)；
◆使用任何上网的电脑查看邮件；
◆“Microsoft SmartScreen Technology”垃圾邮件过滤系统(我就是冲着这一点使用微软邮箱的)；
◆Email病毒扫描功能；
◆和MSN Messenger、MSN Spaces等其它服务无缝连接。
注：提供250MB的邮箱空间(美国50州、哥伦比亚特区和波多黎各以外的地区提供25MB)，非美国用户开通邮箱时只有2M，30天后升到25M。以后每30天内至少需要登录邮箱一次，超过90天不登录清除帐号。
注册后会生成一个微软的Hotmail邮局MX服务器地址，将自己域名的MX记录与微软的MX服务器绑定即可。
然后创建邮局用户，再到https://accountservices.msn.com去激活账户。然后到http://www.hotmail.com去登录激活邮箱。完成上面两步之后，一个形如***@zyan.cc的Hotmail邮箱就已经创建成功了，再将默认语言由英文换成简体中文即可。
唯一不足的是Hotmail的邮箱空间相对于Gmail、雅虎邮箱等G级而言，太小了。期待Gmail、雅虎以后也推出类似服务。
