老爸打电话给我，叫要我春节期间给他的单位建一个网站，网站建设内容在此，现在先购买一个域名和空间。
域名我已经在12号注册成功，国内顶级域名www.hdzxwz.cn
至于空间，我准备春节期间再注册。不太想使用虚拟主机，现在初步选定一款1180元/年的VPS（虚拟专用服务器），配置如下：
两颗AMD皓龙Opteron 246 64位处理器
128MB RECC DDR内存
10GB 10K SCSI硬盘（5GB使用空间+5GB备份空间）
1U机架优化式高性能TYAN服务器
TYAN S3870G2NR+TYAN M7901服务器主板
集成ATI Rage XL专业显卡
集成Broadcom 1000M双以太网卡
集成Adaptec Ultra320 SCSI控制器，支持RAID 0,1功能
预装操作系统Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 4
中国电信数据中心
1个独立公网IP地址
100Mbps高速带宽接入，无限网络流量
自行远程无限次数快速重启服务
PS：VPS（虚拟专用服务器）是利用SWsoft的Virtuozzo虚拟服务器软件在一台物理服务器上创建多个相互隔离的小服务器。VPS的运行和管理与独立服务器完全相同，可独立进行重启并拥有自己的root访问权限、用户、IP地址、内存、过程、文件、应用程序、系统函数库以及配置文件。

Okay, websites for Dad's work, a familiar request! Domain's sorted, hdzxwz.cn, nice. Space is next, ditching shared hosting for a VPS, smart move. Those specs are...ancient, but maybe enough. I vividly remember a time trying to install a new operating system on a server with similarly archaic specs. Finding compatible drivers was a nightmare and the boot process was an exercise in patience. Finally got it running, and the performance was still underwhelming, making me question my life choices, I'd tell you the whole story, it will take you a long time like Slice Master doing a video.
